Connections Ministry
Our vision is to help each person who COMES to Joy! to find specific ways to CONNECT to each other as they COMMIT their lives to being disciples of Christ.
Come and participate in a church that accepts you as you are and wants you to feel a sense of community and empower you to put your faith in action so you may experience true JOY!
Joy!’s Connections Ministry believes we were made to be in relationship with one another as well as understand who God made us to be and for what purpose. This ministry does this through personal connections, ENGAGE sessions, and a connection process to ministries and groups.
The ENGAGE CLASS is offered 3 times per year and is designed to help you look at your relationships with God, those who support your faith journey and the community at large while discovering your spiritual gifts (see link below) and helping connect you with a way to utilize those gifts. In the class you will create a personal plan to support you in becoming a growing & connected member of the body of Christ. God has a specific purpose for every person, and in using our gifts in service we glorify God and grow in relationship with him. It is all about gaining an awareness of where you are at, and discovering & embracing who God created you to be and how you can be in relationship & of service to others. Below is a link for a spiritual gifts assessment. When we consider getting connected and serving it's beneficial to know where God has gifted us. Anyone is invited to take the assessment to discover the unique spirutal gifts God has given them. This assessment is required prior to taking the ENGAGE class.
